You will be part of Cisco SSVPG team. Work also involves providing constant feedback to hardware and software teams for improvements. Write test plans, execute test cases independently. Contribute to automation scripting.


Required Skills/Experience:
* BS CS/EE degree and 2 plus years of strong hands-on testing experience with data networking knowledge.

Highly desirable Skills/Experience:
* Hands-on experience with L2 switching protocols like VLAN/STP/MSTP/RSTP/LACP
* Experience in testing ACLs, QoS, high availability components.
* Knowledge of storage protocols like FC, FCoE.
* Proficient programming in at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, etc.).
* Good understanding of end to end network architectures.
* Background and experience in software testing methodology, test development and test execution is a plus.

Personal Characteristics:
* Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage competing high priority tasks.
* Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others, and have fun!
* Independent, accountable, strong sense of ownership, assertive, communicative, accountable, sense of urgency, and flexible and adaptable.
* BSCS or MSCS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or other relevant field
