JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a senior position responsible for the design and development of the application and UI layer to build new features and enhance Agiliance´s flagship product, RiskVision. Implement key application and UI enhancements for upcoming releases and provide improvements and fixes to existing versions. Expand the scope, scale, performance, and reliability of the product. Use judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. Work cohesively with product management, documentation, and QA and Support organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Design and develop new software components and features.
•Write high level design documents.
•Participate in and contribute to UI design and prototyping.
•Gather end user requirements through collaborative discussions with product management and support.
REQUIREMENTS
•Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
•4 or more years of relevant industry experience with references.
•Experience in developing rich applications and client interfaces.
•Strong working knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript.
•Working knowledge of SQL, Hibernate, CSS and cross-browser development.
•Experience with JavaScript libraries like PrototypeJS, jQuery, DWR, etc is a plus.
•Experience with Reporting Frameworks like Jasper is a plus.
•Experience with Spring is a plus.
•Problem solving capabilities and analytical skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work in a team environment and with offshore team members.
•Enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies.
LOCATION
The position is based at Agiliance´s headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
COMPENSATION
Compensation package consistent with stage of company and individuals track record will
include cash compensation (base and variable), benefits, and equity.
