[KITlist-Tech] eDiscovery Technical Support Specialist (Norwood, MA)

We have an immediate opening for a eDiscovery Technical Support Specialist in our Boston office. The eDiscovery Technical Support Specialist is responsible for telephone, email, and occasional onsite technical support across Recommind's eDiscovery and Information Access product suites. The candidate must have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. This position is a full time position with a condensed four-day work week which includes one weekend day.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Respond to online and phone support requests in a timely manner
•Analyze data, determine issue root cause, and propose resolutions or workarounds
•Assist case team in development of workflows within litigation databases
•Troubleshoot a wide array of technical and workflow issues at the OS and application level
•Interface with Recommind's engineering, product management, and professional services group to develop comprehensive solutions
•Monitor and track issue progress to provide updates to client issues
•Documentation of processes and solutions to enable team collaboration
•Develop custom scripts and queries for data manipulation using bat files, ruby, grep or other scripting languages

Required Skills and Experience:
•Experience in software support or QA
•Knowledge of web UI design (XML, XSLT, DHTML, CSS, Javascript)
•Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Perl)
•Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
•Must have a client-centric, professional manner
•Must have strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for problem solving
•Customer focus and service orientation
•Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work within tight deadlines
•Excellent problem solving ability, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work under strict deadlines in a legal environment and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and attorneys
•Ability to work alone or cooperatively as part of a team
•Experience with Summation, Concordance, Relativity, Introspect, iCONECT, or LAW
•Previous experience with exchange a plus
•Programming/Scripting (Ruby, Perl, Java, SQL) knowledge a plus

Education:
•BA/BS degree required (CS/MIS preferred)
