Job Description

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert who works together IT Management and the business stakeholders on development and problem solving that directly affects the business process or technology.
• This role is the interpreter between IT and the business stakeholder, advocating for the business stakeholder. This role gets involved with projects during the Select Stage, assisting the IT Management in developing the documentation and deliverables required for the project approval process. This includes the preparation of the business case and the associated scorecard/ROI.
• Coordinates closely with the Business Analysts in the initial Stage, ensuring that the requirements are meeting the original business objectives.
• Define the scope of new project opportunities and assist in the development of project requests, including the ROI and cost-benefit analysis.
• Support the quarterly project approval process. Works closely with Business Analysts after a project is in flight to verify requirements and support the systems analysis process.
• Review and communicate technology/process direction to business stakeholders
• Primary liaison back into IT and to the Delivery organization.
• Leads collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems, and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
• Understands the business issues and data challenges of client´s organization and industry.
• Engage and may lead in collection and analysis of possible project scoping activities (objectives, deliverables, critical success factors, assumptions, global and regional considerations, and resource requirements, prioritization, cost/benefit analysis, potential risks, and feasibility


Qualifications
• 8-12 years business analysis, data analysis, system functional/non-functional analysis, business case development, project management or process management in IT.
• Detailed knowledge of the technology or process being managed
• Experience in development and maintenance of the functional area
• Working knowledge of productivity, testing, and quality measurements
• Experience in project estimation techniques
• Trusted relationship with business stakeholders
• Demonstrated collaborative partnership skills with internal and external teams
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with technologists
• Ability to find creative solutions when options are limited
• Good negotiation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 2 -5 years direct experience in application development/management in a leadership role (such as App Mgr, IT Business Liaison, Program management etc…)
• Has experience working in outsourcing model
• Has a solid understanding of projects/program management financials (Burn rate, Budget, Forecast, actual, etc…)
• Must have strong communication skills and can influence at all levels (Business Analysts, Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, Execs, etc…)

Nice to have but not fully required:
• ITIL Trained
• Six Sigma process training

Location;- Mountain View, CA
Duration:- 6+ Months
