A business technology team that provides leadership on innovating collaborative technologies has a need for a Business Process Manager.
The technology platform includes an internal company collaboration initiative encompassing business process, culture, technology allows users to more effectively connect, communicate, and collaborate with people and communities, as well as share information to help accelerate growth, encourage innovation, and create sustainable productivity. In addition, the underlying technology is for external production and being sold to customers and partners.
The Client Engagement Team within this group has three key areas of responsibility:
1. Client Engagement
2. Change Management
3. Business Value
Job Summary:
This is a unique position, focused on accelerating the adoption of this technology within Client. The candidate will work with business process owners to clearly develop compelling business rationales (for their process) that qualify and quantify the business and transformational value of the innovative platform.
The candidate will have demonstrated exceptional communications, project management, process understanding skills in previous roles. In particular, experience with;
* Translating technical speak into easily understood goals, objectives, and benefits.
* Developing success measures from stakeholder goals and objectives
* Creation of concise, easy to understand presentation content from multiple sources
* Managing multiple assignments from conception to completion on time.
Job Responsibilities:
The results-oriented candidate will build collaborative partnerships with teammates, executives, and key business process owners to successfully identify key business processes, build a value case to bring them on to this platform, and then work with a heavily cross functional team to bring the case to life.
He/ She will do so by developing and offering a structured consulting engagement to bring the above to life within this product at Client, while leveraging the baseline capabilities (like change management, value, metrics etc.) being developed by the team.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Develop an overall internal consulting practice that leverages internal capabilities and showcases available platform capabilities
2. Engage with cross functional business process owners to offer a win/win consulting service for this platform
3. Engage internally with the delivery teams (product development/ IT) to identify new business opportunities, as well as product innovations that create substantial business value to clients
The ideal candidate is/ has:
* A self starter
* Creative thinker, comfortable with ambiguity
* Detail oriented
* Ability to understand business processes
* Attention to detail, strong listening skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within established time lines
* Flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Exceptional communication skills
* 4+ years experience in a top tier management consulting firm
* Experience with Enterprise class social media, Web 2.0 technologies
* High energy and self motivated individual
