Job Title: Performance Architect
Description:
Integral part of the processor development team.
Responsibilities include
• Modeling new features in the performance simulator.
• Benchmark and workload analysis/characterization.
• Interact with the software and design teams to identify, test, debug and resolve architectural and performance issues.
• Work closely with the design team to validate the design.
Experience:
An ideal candidate will have a MS inElectrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 0-2 years of work experience in processor modeling.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of RISC/CISC architectures
- Strong C/C++ programming experience
- Performance modeling and validation
- Prior experience with OOO cycle accurate simulators desired
