Very exciting, fast growing, 4 year old start- up company currently in stealth mode, developing interesting SoCs & platforms in a close collaboration with various partners and customers. Company is well funded and has solid financial backing from large corporate, strategic and financial investors. Founded by an experienced team with many industry notables involved in various capacities. Company currently employs approximately around 75 people in US and ramping up the team to close to 100. Company currently has close to 125 people worldwide.

Job Title: Sr. Linux System Administrator
We are hiring an experienced IT Systems Administrator (with microprocessor design environment experience) to help manage and support our IT infrastructure that spans offices in the United States, Europe and India. You will be a responsible member of our team that helps support, design, configure, install and maintain our storage system, network infrastructure, and compute clusters across the globe; perform IT system administration of our heterogeneous operating system environment, monitor and improve our IT infrastructure on an ongoing basis, and work with upper management and engineering to plan for and meet our growing IT requirements. We are looking for a quick, "hands on" individual that knows a bit about everything being a Sys Admin at previous microprocessor design companies and can resolve issues quickly and can hit the ground running.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Several years as a Linux Systems Administrator (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian&OpenSUSE) in a moderate to large Linux environment in an engineering company a must.

• Extensive experience with Linux systems administration tools such as LDAP, VMWareESXi, scripting, network monitoring, VPN, apache a must.

• Experience with storage appliances and globally distributed file systems (e.g., NFS, ZFS) a must.
• Experience with grid computing/distributed computingtools such as Sun Grid, LSF, and Condor compute clusters a must.

• Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys a strong plus.
