Very exciting, fast growing, 4 year old start- up company currently in stealth mode, developing interesting SoCs & platforms & working on the latest technology edge, in a close collaboration with various partners and customers. Company is well funded and has solid financial backing from large corporate, strategic and financial investors. Founded by an experienced team with many industry notables involved in various capacities. Company currently employs approximately around 75 people in US and ramping up the team to close to 100. Company currently has close to 125 people worldwide

Job Title: Processor Architect

Description:

Integral part of the Processor Architecture development team.

Responsibilities include
- Architect key components of next generation microprocessors.
- Develop cycle-accurate processor models and do performance analysis.
- Identify, test, debug and resolve architectural and performance issues.
- Work closely with the design team to validate the design.

Experience:

An ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in processor modeling. Relevant PhD graduate research will be considered as experience.

Skills:
- Good understanding of Micro architecture & logic design
Strong background in RISC/CISC architectures
- Familiarity/deep knowledge of processor's OOO, Fetch or Memory clusters.
(Cache coherency, memory consistency, bus protocols, I/O, PCI)

- Performance modeling and validation
- Prior experience with cycle accurate simulators
- Software skills: C/C++ required, SystemC desired.

The candidate is expected to have a BS (5+ years exp)/MS (3+ years)/PhD (0+ years) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
