Job Title: Senior SharePoint 2010 Developer/Consultant
SUMMARY: This position requires a strong and experienced SharePoint 2010 Developer with proven design and coding skills. The candidate should be able to rapidly create POCs and develop high quality custom components in an agile manner. A broad knowledge of Web development tools and languages is required. This person will work in a team environment and be responsible for the technical quality of developed software before its release. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of overall IT experience with 1+ year of technical lead experience. 3 years of SharePoint development experience
EDUCATION: 4 year degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Understanding and adherence to processes and best practices supporting technical quality (platform stability, security, performance, scalability, solution deployments, etc.)
• Developing and deploying SharePoint solutions – coding web parts, SharePoint Object Model, Web Services, Timer Jobs, etc. using C#
• Developing in SharePoint Platform as a WCM Portal – creating list and page content types, master page and content page layouts, themes, workflows, etc. using Visual Studio 2008/2010, SharePoint Designer, C#
• Evaluating and deploying 3rd party SharePoint solutions and web parts
• Experience in Web Technologies including ASP.NET 3.5+, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Web Services and XML.
Preferred Skills
• Setup and administration of SharePoint Farms, Web applications and site collections
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008 databases with sound knowledge of SQL, Analytic and Reporting Services
• Expertise in configuration management using TFS
• Experience with Agile development methodology
