Job Title IT Program Manager

Duties
-Manages projects with high complexity that are broad in scope with a broad customer base, addressing multiple functional areas across multiple organizational domains, involving large size teams with a reporting hierarchy.
-Responsible for developing the project resource plan, forecast and budget. Ensures that the project remains within the project budget throughout the project life cycle.
-Understand and manage decision making processes and cost/time/quality impacts to project.
-Ensure cross-functional IT and business areas are involved as appropriate.
-Establish project success criteria and determine the degree to which the project achieved project objectives.
-Responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules.
-Manage scope, issues, constraints, risks, assumptions and change control process throughout the project life cycle.
-Track and report project progress and status. Initiate escalation of issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
-Ensure the successful migration to production (technical and business processes) and the development of an on-going support plan.
-Responsible for project team.s adherence to and compliance with IT Standards, processes and tools (i.e. the company's project methodology, SOX, etc.).
-Lead and contribute key project lessons learned to improve internal project management processes.
-Lead and deliver to management identified gaps or follow-on efforts relative to overall continuous improvement within the clients project methodology, functional units, etc.
-Mentor and lead lower level project managers on approach, methodology and execution, and drives the use of best practices. Actively builds the expertise of other project managers.
-
Skills
-Highly developed level interpersonal and communication skills.
-Disciplined in writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison, making professional level presentations to all levels of an organization.
-Demonstrated ability to produce meticulous documentation.
-Well disciplined in the use of innovative ideas to solve problems in a cost effective manner.
-Strong technical and leadership skills.
-Experienced in managing interpersonal issues resulting in a successful project and teamwork.

Education
-MS/MBA/MA degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience required

RELATED EXPERIENCE DESIRED
10+ years experience
5+ years project management experience.
-Project management certification recommended

Location:- Mountain View, CA
Duration:-3+ Months
