IO Turbine, founded by Silicon Valley veterans, is an early stage software company currently in stealth mode and backed by some key angel investors including Andy Bechtolsheim and David Cheriton, and top tier VCs Lightspeed Venture Partners and Merus Capital. We are developing a storage acceleration solution for public and private clouds to significantly reduce TCO by delivering a dramatic increase in IOPS performance. We currently have 15 employees. We are currently looking for a QA Lead to join our team.
If you are driven to build a highly parallel and scalable storage system, this may be the opportunity you were looking for. This position is for a QA engineer with 5+ years of experience. You will set up our QA automation in place and develop black/white box QA tests. We are looking for someone who has worked in virtualized environments. Knowledge of VMware APIs would be great to have, and previous start-up experience is a plus.

Qualifications:
* A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Masters degree or equivalent experience is required.
* Expertise in perl, python, shell scripting, and PowerShell.
* Automation and scripting with test automation frameworks.
* Experience with automated testing of GUIs.
* Experience with vSphere APIs and virtualization.
* Experience with QA of storage systems.
* Experience with Linux and Windows.
* Basic C and Java programming skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a remote QA team.
Job Responsibilities:
A major part of your responsibility in the design and development of our server system will be to participate in any and/or all phases of the product development cycle from product definition and design, through implementation including:
* Testing
* Test automation
* Debugging
* Reliability
* Performance Analysis
* Critical and/or high visibility customer support
