Principal Architect – Network Subsystem
Company Description
Very exciting, fast growing, 3 ½ year old start- up company currently in stealth mode, developing interesting SoCs & platforms in a close collaboration with various partners and customers. Company has just closed a large round of financing and has solid financial backing from large corporate and financial investors that gives us several years of runway. Founded by an experienced team with many industry notables involved in various capacities. Company currently employs approximately around 50 people in US and we are ramping up the team to 75 within the coming months. Company has a strong R&D presence outside the US.
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for developing a high performance network subsystem using 3rd party IP components available in the market. The Network subsystem has hardware blocks to accelerate TCP / IP, ISCSI, RDMA and security functions in addition to 10G MAC and PHY.
Requirements
 10+ years of relevant industry experience in developing Network subsystems.
 Exp. in architecture/micro-architecture/logic design of high performance Network subsystems.
 Thorough knowledge of TCP / IP protocol, ISCSI, RDMA.
 Must have experience in architecting hardware acceleration blocks for networking applications – TOE implementation.
 Must be familiar with IP security.
 Familiarity with hardware design methodology used for developing large SOCs.
