Job Requirements

Successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies required to support Enterprise- Level Applications and how they are best integrated within the SDLC process.

He/She must provide the technical leadership in QA with a strong emphasis on a metrics driven approach that will help to drive ongoing process improvements, defect reduction and cost reduction

He/She should have the ability to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude in the face of extremely challenging and fast paced deliverables.

In order to successfully meet aggressive delivery timelines, good coordination/facilitation skills with remote teams and flexibility of working hour time differences are extremely important.

This position also requires an excellent ability to manage multiple requests and project schedule commitments simultaneously; the candidate will be required to demonstrate project management and leadership ability through planning and communicating scope of work to the QA team and our stakeholders while effectively managing issues and risks.

The Lead must be ability to communicate fluently and effectively with all level of business users, technical teams, and management across the organization. He/She must quickly understand business terminology/ requirements and be able to translate between the technical and business terminology.

The tasks this individual are responsible for are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches. This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation. He/She should demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or a Business related degree is required; MS degree is a plus

8 years relevant work experience to strongly demonstrate the following skills and knowledge: Test design and management, communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills and group facilitation skills.

A minimum of 4 years of experience managing multiple projects and leading project teams.

Ability to work collaboratively, take a lead role within a project team of other quality analysts and cross functional peers to support deadlines, and learn a new skill.

Experience with the design and implementation of automated testing including regression testing using tools such as Quality Center, Test Director and Performance Center (Load Runner).
Exposure to the defect tracking tools and understanding of the test and defect life cycle and how it ties to the SDLC process.
