Senior SAN Engineer
Contract /Contract to hire to hire
Phoenix,AZ
Job Responsibilities:
- Installs, configures, and maintains SAN hardware operating systems, systems
management software and Storage Area Network hardware and software.
- Works closely with clients, vendors, and other technical staff to identify and
resolve issues or problems that impact the SAN environment.
- Consults with clients and other technical staff on SAN design, implementation,
or maintenance issues.
- Provides technical support for SAN application development.
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends new tools and technologies for SAN.
- Works with senior SAN Systems Administrators on design and implementation of
SAN systems.
- Performs other duties as required.
Skills:
7+ years of experience with Storage
Experience with managing Windows, Unix and RDBMS SANs
Experience with design and architecture the enterprise wide SAN
Experience with managing the relationship with SAN vendors
