HiWire has been engaged to find an outstanding Senior Product Manager for a fast-growing, breakthrough provider of cloud-based service offerings located in the Seattle, WA area. Relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
The company is looking for a passionate, experienced product management professional to drive the definition and ensure successful execution of significant new enhancements to the company's cloud-based service offerings. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for identifying, specifying, and prioritizing feature-level and detailed functional requirements that establish deliverables for the engineering and operations teams. This is a position with broad impact and high visibility within the company.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
>> Be a high-energy, passionate individual with at least five years of product management or program management experience
>> Have a strong technical background and significant domain experience in systems software (operating systems, virtualization, systems management, storage management, networking, databases), preferably in a Cloud / SaaS environment
>> Have experience leading cross-functional virtual teams
>> Be highly-organized, detail oriented and analytical with a great work ethic and demonstrated strong self-initiative
>> Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
>> Have prior successful experience working in a startup environment and the passion to do it again
>> Have earned a CS degree from a top engineering school; MBA desirable but not required
