The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering the release calendar to ensure on time and high quality delivery of the LiveOps product roadmap. LiveOps follows an agile software development process to manage its product development cycle. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for building release plans across multiple agile teams, coordinating and managing release plans across organizations including Engineering, Network Operations, and Product Management, and working closely with business partners to ensure communication and status flow seamlessly between the business and the technology organization.

Project managers may also be responsible for delivering business-critical projects that span multiple agile teams. Working with these teams, they must identify a project schedule, key milestones, and major risks and mitigations. From there they are the owner of that project date and must quarterback the team to execute on the fastest possible path to market delivery. Your "field vision" and ability to see the critical path in a complex planning environment is the key to your team's success. Your deep understanding of the SDLC, team collaboration, and organizational theory will give you a framework in which you can read the path and interpret events as they transpire.

Responsibilities and duties:

Plan, manage, and execute LiveOps' release calendar and plan. This includes coordinating across multiple agile teams, Network Operations, and Product Management.
Communicate status of and changes to release plans.
Track metrics around releases to ensure that LiveOps is delivering with on time with high quality
Build tools and process to improve the efficiency of releases and communication tools
Assist with the roadmap planning process, including requirements gathering, resource planning, and ROI analysis
Manage key projects involving the coordinated delivery of code, computing, telephony, and documentation
Determine project schedules and then coordinate the teams to deliver on those schedules.
Anticipate issues and work with the team to find the right solutions
360-degree communication of project status, issues

Requirements:

6-8 years experience in program management, product management, professional services, or engineering management with a proven track record of delivering projects on time
Experience in software development with a proven record of hands-on delivery of in a modern, hosted services business environment
Experience using Agile development methodologies
Proven ability to work directly with engineers, and a proven deep understanding of the coding process and programmer mentality
Telephony experience a plus
Experience working in a SaaS environment a plus
Diplomacy skills and high EQ
Strong grounding in the theory of software program management and software development process
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of typical modern "ops" environments a plus
Strong team player with superlative energy
