The resource we are looking for is:
- BI Expert
- Who can do dashboards and metrics
- Hands on experience with XML, HTML, Scripting
- Expertise in Excel – Pivot tables, vLookups, etc.
Someone who has worked on BO with Web background can do it. I will also be on this project to make sure it is delivered.
Enterprise Metrics and Dashboards:
The Enterprise Metrics project aims to provide Enterprise managers with an agreed set of standardized metrics and supporting dashboards in an easily digestible manner, so that managers have easy access to the data they need to make data driven decisions and run their businesses more effectively The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing client´s Enterprise Metrics dashboards that drive executive decision-making. They will define requirements for metrics and reporting projects and work closely with business stakeholders and the Enterprise Business Systems solution architects to come up with scalable solutions.
Specific focus areas/projects
1. Bookings based sales performance metrics by Region, Product, Segment, Sales Area, Channel, Quota, New vs. Renewal. 2. Sales Performance metrics by Region, Function, Segment, Sales Area, Sales Unit, New vs. Renewal 3. Sales Conversion metrics by Product Line 4. Customer metrics by Region, Sales Unit & Product Area, Sales Rep and Channel, Product Usage 5. Sales Outlook (forecast) metrics
Any specific skills/experience requirements a candidate will need to qualify for this role?
Ability to work in XML and HTML Advanced data extraction skills using SQL and other scripting languages Ability to use a developer interface e.g. Java script Comfort with using basic Unix commands Advanced spreadsheet skills: vlookups, pivot tables etc. Presentation skills
What a successful outcome to the engagement would be
The establishment of institutionalized metrics and reporting processes that result in timely, accurate and usable dashboards via the Enterprise ABI dashboard site. More importantly, on-time execution and delivery of the Enterprise Metrics roadmap over the duration of the rotation.
