Job Title: Postgres and MySQL DBA

Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration: 3 months+ /contract to hire

Skills:
* Strong background in PERL, MySQL, Postgres, Linux
* 3 years' experience designing, developing, tuning, optimizing, deploying and updating MySQL/Postgres environment with critical uptime requirements
* In-depth database knowledge with significant expertise in database administration and MySQL/Postgres application system administration
* Must have configured and managed replication/standby instances of MySQL/Postgres databases
* Must have configured and managed online backup technologies in MySQL/Postgres and ensure disaster recovery and data retention protocols (backup, monitoring, security, installation).
* Must have expert knowledge of all MySQL/Postgres configuration parameters
