Test Development Engineer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop production test systems for RFID tags and readers.
• Develop test Software and Hardware and define test fixture requirements.
• Create test applications using data acquisition instrumentation such as analog to
digital converters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, frequency generators
and so on.
• Work closely with design engineers to establish test requirements and create test requirements specification.
• Perform system bring-up, test system validation and qualification.
• Create test plans and protocols, functional specs and test reports.
• Work closely with operation to understand manufacturing requirements for test
processes and design and develop for high volume, high yield environment.
• Develop processes for NIST traceability.
Skills/Requirements
• Good understanding of digital and analog circuits.
• Experienced in instrumentation and capable of writing driver codes.
• Experienced in automation of test and calibration processes.
• Good understanding of interface such as USB, Ethernet, UARTs, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
• Experienced developing in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Ruby.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
• Experience with LabWindows CVI, LabView, Test Stand and National Instrument
tools.
• Experienced with IEEE 488 interface.
• Knowledge of RF design concepts and RF test methodologies.
• Understanding of Antenna technologies and test parameters.
• Experience working with Linux.
Education
• BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
