Tangence Inc -- a global B2B marketing agency -- is looking for a highly skilled webmaster and multi-tasker to take on the day-to-day web maintenance requirements for one of our largest accounts. He or she will be required to work at the client site and coordinate with our technical execution team based in India.
NOTE: This is a contract position based at the client´s headquarters in the Chatsworth area of Southern California. Candidates must live within commuting distance.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven website management experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of Drupal CMS (Content Management System), version 6.0 or higher.
• Deep understanding of Linux, Apache, Mysql (at least5.1 and php 5.1).
• Experience with HTML V4.0 and working knowledge of V5.0.
• Knowledge of JavaScripts, Jquery, DHTML, CSS and XML.
• Knowledge of Apache and IIS as hosting solutions – Preferred.
• Familiarity with the W3C community and their work is a plus.
• Ability to respond quickly to technical demands and work under tight deadlines.
• Multi-tasking skills necessary to juggle multiple requests from multiple people within
the client's organization.
Extras desired:
• Working knowledge of the Adobe suite and CS4
• Some web design experience and ability to implement minor graphic and web design
changes as necessary.
