Job Title: Field Software Implementation Project Manager

Compensation: Competitive base and bonus DOE – in range of $70-$80k

Our client is a leading provider of Corporate Responsibility and EH&S software solutions whose solutions are used by Global 2000 companies across all industries in more than 130 countries with over 100,000 users.
To support stronger demand for our solutions and as part of our US expansion, we are currently looking for a Field Implementation Project Manager in either Houston or Chicago.
This is a client-facing Field Implementation Engineer role.
As a Software Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing enterprise-wide software solutions for many of the world's largest companies.
Within our client-facing Professional Services Organization, the successful candidate will work closely with analysts, product managers, key account executives and customer project teams to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions.
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong sense of customer care.
Role & Responsibilities
* Manage project portfolios by establishing direction and aligning people and resources throughout the organization
* Ensure proper project management processes are in use throughout the project lifecycle
* Manage day-to-day implementation of enterprise software solutions
* Communication and the relationship with the client project Team
o Operational management of the project (functional, technical and organizational aspects)
o Resources allocation, Budget elaboration and follow-up
o Project Planning
o Quality of the deliverables (incl. writing detailed specifications and the Project Quality Plan)
o Project follow-up
o Internal validation and testing
Education/Experience/Skills
* 3+ years of Project Management experience on enterprise software solutions implementation
* A proven track record for project planning, executing, controlling and closing
* Excellent written/oral communication skills, particularly in client-facing situations
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with solid problem-solving skills
* Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with clients/partners
* A background in software development is a plus
* Four year degree is preferred
* Project Management certification is an advantage
