Experis IT Professional is looking for a Business Analyst with the below requirement.
Title: Business Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ months with possible extension
Business Analyst will be responsible to executes projects, programs, and day-to-day duties that have an emphasis on data, analysis, and reporting. Also executes defined short-term projects. This role will be reporting to a Sr. Manager, Operations
Responsibilities:
- Financial tracking and reporting
- Partner with finance and other operations teams to ensure a smooth quarterly PO process, including communicating process timelines, managing process integrity and accuracy, and troubleshooting issues.
- Create and maintain data files in MS Excel and other tools.
- Use MS Excel and other tools to prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports on status of budgets and expenses
- Conduct data reconciliation as required
- Provide support for other operational programs
- Collect, consolidate and maintain data and other inputs from cross functional teams
- Create reports based on standing templates
- Create and maintain documentation for processing supported
Skills Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Financial, business reporting
- Proficiency in the use of: MS Excel / Spreadsheets, MS PowerPoint
- Key Interfaces Finance analyst, operations liaisons, vendor representatives and ability to work in a partnered environment
- Excellent communication skills: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
- Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and meet deadlines.
- Support Decisions: strong analytical skills and eye for detail; track details/data/information/activities effectively in a matrix environment
- Problem-solver: acumen to understand upstream and downstream linkages to process; problem solving approach and experience in dealing with data
- Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Knowledge Helpful to the Role Financial acumen
