Content
Follows established practices in assisting with the development, testing and maintenance of software systems. Assists with systems modeling, simulation and analysis related to operating systems, compliers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and internet-related tools. Under supervision, may assist with the design of system enhancements and upgrade plans.

Scope
Assignments are task-oriented with detailed instruction given. Follows standard practices to resolve routine problems.

Qualifications
* Knowledge of C/C++
* Some experience with Linux
* Knowledge of data structures, algorithms
* Ability/desire to develop designs and implement code
* Skilled in Writing - can effectively write so needed messages are clear and understood


Background
* BS degree or equivalent
