Senior JavaScript Engineer needed for long term project. Excellent opportunity at Fortune 500 Company. Pay Rate $70-85/hr DOE.
Responsibilities:
•Design JavaScript foundational classes, utilities and JSON APIs using MVC frameworks
•Migrate existing features and UI components to the new code-base
•Write test scripts, generate API documentation
•Evangelize the new JS library, and provide training and guidance to other frontend developers
Required Skills:
•Building pixel-perfect user interfaces with jQuery
•JavaScript MVC frameworks, such as can.js, JavaScript MVC, backbone.js
•JavaScript testing frameworks such as QUnit, Jasmine, buster.JS
Plus Skills:
•Front-end build environments, such as Maven
•Deep understanding of MVC design patterns
•Closure Compiler
•Ruby and/or Java
•Agile and waterfall methodologies
•Working in a large cross-functional team
•Working on high profile / high traffic sites
