Job Description

Assist in the development of a Marketing Requirement Document (MRD) for the Brick and Mortar Retail Space. With emphasis on Logistics and Inventory management
Duties:
Candidate will work collaboratively with internal staff to develop an MRD focused on Brick and Mortar Retail business.
The MRD will consist of the following

A description of the value chain for a large brick and mortar retailer describing the how a products are moved from the manufacture to the retailer and from the retail to the consumer

A description of technologies associated with logistics, inventory management and other innovative in-store technology.

A description of recent innovation in the space

A description of important trends

Listing of key retailers, their revenues (US, WW) with CAGR and profitability

Skills/Qualifications:
Track record for delivering a quality product in a timely fashion
Ideal candidate with have a deep understanding of behind the scenes of brick and mortar retail, including supply chain, logistics, innovative technologies include RFID, Inventory management HW/Sw
Significant experience with a market leader in retail a plue
Willingness to work in a dynamic environment
Willingness to share his knowledge and answer questions to a larger group
Willingness to travel if need be to present finding at corporate HQ
