[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: SAP SD Analyst (Silicon Valley, CA)

SAP Programmer / Analyst needed for long term project for OTM Client Company. Project is long term (1-2+ years), stable, etc. Pay rate DOE.

** Must have experience with Retail IS and SAP SD (Pricing/Promotions/Bonus applications).

**Preferably Local Candidates. Local Candidates = Reside in California.


Responsibilities
•Work in a highly integrated, cross-functional environment, supporting various projects.
•Perform detailed system analysis, develop functional and technical specifications, and make recommendations for SAP eCommerce/Retail applications.
•Understand Retail Best Practices and the customer environment.
•Work closely with Point of Sales (POS), Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis and other teams in design and implementation of SAP Retail functionalities to support eCommerce/Retail business applications.
•Work closely with key business users in developing detailed requirements and coming up with conceptual design of proposed solutions.
•Perform system configuration, modification and set-up for new projects, and enhancements to existing projects.
•Perform system testing and integration validations.
•Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted by business users.
• Interact with business users and other teams, to ensure that business requirements are met through proper system configuration.
•Provide project status update and manage documentation of designs, processes and configurations.
•Be the project lead or project manager for other Retail Application projects.

Qualifications:
•More than 5 years of hands-on SAP SD experience
•Completed at least 3 full lifecycles of a large scale SAP Retail implementation, and have an in-depth understanding of SAP integration.
•Proven SAP Retail project implementation. Experience in design, configuration and deployment of SAP SD (Retail Pricing, Promotions and Bonus Buy Application).
•Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional designs and technical specifications
•Excellent understanding in building and defining interfaces without side systems.
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task, are essential.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, inter-personal and organizational skills are essential.
•Capable of understanding complex business processes/requirements and transform them into simple solutions in SAP.
•Able to work directly with technical teams such as ABAP and Basis and be able to define technical requirements for those teams.
•Capable and comfortable in fast-paced/changing environments.
•Good understanding of FI/SD integration in the area of inventory management and account determination
•Good understanding of EDI/IDocs, process codes, partner profiles, etc.
•Experienced in writing detailed functional specifications, prepare test scenarios, write test scripts and perform end to end testing.
•Good retail business knowledge.
•Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
•Bachelor of Science degree in related fields plus 8-10 years of related experience, or advanced degree plus 5-7 years of related experience is preferred; or equivalent.
