The Role:

We are looking for a rock-star Business Intelligence Architect for our Business Objects 4.0 reporting suite. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing and architecting our Business Objects Universes and reporting tool-kit. You will be hands-on designing, creating and delivering reports and dashboards. You will actively train all business users on new tools and drive adoption across the company. You will define and own the roadmap and partner with our Database Architect to develop a reporting infrastructure that comprehensively meets and scales with our business needs.

Responsibilities:

-Develop architecture / implementation plan for BI projects using SAP Business Objects 4.0
-Design, maintain and enhance all Business Objects Universes and optimize for reporting efficiency and scale. Analyze user needs and create cardinalities, contexts, joins and aliases
-Work with business users and define list of standard and custom dimensions and measures
-Establish, maintain and administer reporting environment, including scheduling, distribution, user permissions, and updating reports and dashboards
-Define & design our reporting tool-kit from scratch, define best practices for report design and security
-Interact, support, consult and collaborate with all departments to define metrics and deliver standardized and ad-hoc reports and data to speed their decision making
-Actively engage with end users and advocate Business Objects (BO) usage through training and support
-Evaluate external tools and define our Business Intelligence investment case

Requirements:

-At least 3 years of demonstrated experience working with SAP Business Objects (BO) universes with 20+ tables. Experience with SAP BW, BOBJ BI4.0
-Strong data modeling skills
-Solid experience with SAP reporting tools like Web Intelligence (WEBI), Web Application Designer, BEx Designer, Web Application Designer
-5-7 years of progressive experience working within a Business Intelligence environment, with a focus on reporting infrastructure and interaction with business users
-Extremely strong SQL skills and understanding of data architecture and warehousing principals
-Bachelor´s or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
-Thorough research, problem solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen
-A strong voice for data integrity and reporting quality utilizing best practices and industry standards
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience with Database technologies (SQL Server) & Big data (Hadoop) a plus
