Title: Social Media Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA (remote ok)
Contract: 6+months (renewed quarterly)
-Manage and execute the social media strategy for client Security campaigns, launches and events, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness
-Manage clients presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites
-Become an advocate of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
-Measure the impact of social media programs. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
-Manage social media monitoring activities, reporting and trend analysis
Interact with other client social media leads across different regions to develop global campaigns and promotions
Skills:
-Demonstrated experience with social media channels (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, Flickr, blogs, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums and community software). .
-Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, Radian6, and Sprinklr.
-Experience with creating and identifying quality social media content related
-Ability to innovate and define new tools and practices
-Strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to clearly and simply articulate concepts, messages and strategies
-Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented culture
-Strong business, project management and operational skills
-Data, analytics, and metrics oriented
-Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
-Able to communicate with and influence a geographically dispersed, international team.
-BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or public relations, and 4-6 years experience in social media marketing (preferred)
