Description:
Architect, design, implement and debug core features for PernixData´s data tier
Devise innovative data structures/algorithms to improve/optimize the existing functionality
Work collaboratively with other team members to contribute to the success of our product
Skills & Qualifications:
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
Strong C development skills
Experience with kernel/systems modules design/development a must
Familiarity with OS internals and design/implementation tradeoffs in building clustered, high performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software
Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization and/or storage
Experience with virtualization environments like VMware, Hyper-V, Xen a plus
Experience with clustering, scale-out, and distributed systems a plus
New college grads with excellent academic records and familiarity with the concepts mentioned above are welcomed to apply too
