Job Description
Robert Half International is seeking a proactive SharePoint Developer/Front End Web Developer* to join our Interactive Media Services team. We are looking for someone who brings positivity, adaptability, technical expertise and strong communication skills to contribute in a collaborative team environment. You will work with other developers, user experience designers, rich media producers, IT partners, and with various business teams to gather requirements, create new sites, support enterprise applications, and help users manage and update their sites. You will also work with teammates evaluate new products, to identify opportunities for new solutions and implement those solutions to improve usability and users' productivity, as well as providing leadership, assistance and guidance for junior developers. You enjoy learning, are current with web standards and best practices, and apply your knowledge to create engaging sites and scalable, extendable, efficient solutions. You like to utilize your technical skills and creativity to develop solutions that will improve business processes and help users to be more productive. You take pride in quality customer service and you are comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in a related field such as computer science, computer information, or human computer interaction.
• 5+ years experience developing & administering corporate web applications (SharePoint 2010 preferred)
• 2+ years experience supporting an enterprise business system is preferred.
• 1+ years experience mentoring and leading junior developers
• Skilled in the following web technologies/languages: C# & .Net programming, HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, Visual Studio 2010, SharePoint Web Parts, and SharePoint Designer.
• Experience with analyzing a process with the business, gathering requirements, providing suggestions, and completing the project to customer satisfaction.
• Additional skills with PowerShell, XML, XSL, and JSP a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills a must
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills
• Experience with third-party tools for SharePoint development and site management a plus
• Experience integrating SharePoint with other enterprise systems a plus
• Experience with Content Management Systems (particularly Vignette) a plus
• Familiarity with search configuration, term store creation, and audience targeting
• Demonstrated project management skills; project Management certification is a plus
• Experience with mobile device development a plus
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, portal technology and content management systems is required
