OTM seeking a User Interface Engineer for Fortune 500 Client Company. Application is a large scale enterprise system used for generating internal and external communications. Pay rate negotiable DOE.

**Local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain and enhance UI side of existing J2EE applications.
- Design, document and develop new features.
- Engage with other business and development groups as necessary for testing and issue resolution.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies:

- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience in a rapid release environment
- Passion for producing beautiful user interface
- Dedication to providing a remarkable user experience
- Outstanding design sense
- Extensive knowledge jQuery, Javascript, CSS2/3 and HTML4/5
- Fluency speaking JSON via AJAX

Required Experience:

- BS in related field or equivalent work experience, plus additional 5 years related experience.

Preferred Experience:

- Familiarity with Photoshop or similar visual design tools.
- Experience developing mobile apps.
- Experience developing using SQL with relational databases such as Oracle 11G.
- Experience with working in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Comfortable with source version control software (CVS, SVN).
- Experience developing using server-side technologies such as J2EE (Servlet, JDBC, JPA), Java, Struts2.
