Title: Compliance Analyst
Contract: 6+months (renewed quarterly)
Location: San Jose, CA
-The key capability that we are looking for is experience with risk management approaches and compliance risk assessment frameworks specifically. This means the process of identifying different compliance risks that are inherent in the business and then assessing each risk in terms of likelihood, severity/impact and the level of controls or mitigation against that risk. The process will also include identifying and tracking appropriate remediation steps for priority risks.
- some examples of the regulations and ordinances they are needing, The inventory of compliance risks will range from anti-corruption to antitrust to privacy and wage and hour risks. Because the range is very broad, it is not necessary or expected that the candidate be a subject matter expert in each area. Rather, the experience needed is in process of assessing and prioritizing risk.
-There is no need for the candidate to make any filings with compliance regulatory bodies.
-The successful candidate should have strong project management skills and powerpoint or other presentation tools.
-Plan and coordinate the operational activities to guarantee compliance with governmental regulations and ordinances.
-Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and well documented, performing occasional internal reviews and identifying compliance problems that call for formal attention.
-Develope risk management strategies to avoid non-compliance and file compliance reports with regulatory bodies.
-Bachelors degree required.
-5 years of experience are required.
