OTM seeking an Oracle Financials Business Analyst for Fortune 500 Client Company. Pay rate negotiable DOE.

**Local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)**


The Oracle Financials Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the technical staff and business user community, with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Works with users to identify and specify complex business requirements, then calls upon a deep background in working with custom applications that interact with Oracle E-business Suite to deliver application design, module configuration/setup, acceptance testing, and End-User training.


Key responsibilities:
•Serve as IT finance business analyst on the Service Delivery Platform (SDP) Project.
•Work as a business partner with client users in the Revenue Team and Order to Cash teams to identify requirements to support the implementation of a new SaaS billing system to support SDP.
•Document the functional requirements for changes to the revenue system as a result of SDP implementation and the business team's requirements
•Support QA and user testing of the changes to the revenue system including user training, defect analysis, identifying resolutions for defects and performing revenue system setups.
•Perform functional testing on newly developed functionality
•Serve as liaison between business users and development teams, by translating and clarifying business requirements into technical requirements needed by the development team.
•Ensure deliverables are tracked and delivered to the project schedule
•Engage multiple stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout of business solutions
•Work closely with application development managers and integration resources to build integrated solutions
•Monitor production to identify candidates for long term application improvements
•Perform other duties as assigned or necessary


Qualifications:
•Financials modules expertise: AR, OM, SC, IB
•A deep understanding of Oracle E-business Suite Order to Cash processes
•Experience implementing custom solutions that are integrated with Oracle EBS, specifically involving order, fulfillment, billing, returns and revenue processing.
•Experience with revenue systems a plus
•Experience with Informatica and/or Aria a plus
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
