Apollo Group, Inc. was founded in 1973 in response to a gradual shift in higher education demographics from a student population dominated by youth to one in which approximately half the students are adults and over 80 percent of whom work full-time. Apollo Group, looking to continue the growth, completed its initial public offering on December 6, 1994 with a price of $0.72 per share (adjusted for stock splits).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position is responsible for mapping current IT processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, conducting maturity assessments, designing future processes and identifying necessary process metrics. Strong information elicitation skills and Visio diagramming skills are essential. Understanding of IT processes is important. Logical, detail-oriented candidates with 3 or more years of process experience are welcome. Rummler-Brache, Hammer and Company, Performance Design Lab, Lean and Six Sigma training and/or Lean certification preferred. ITIL v3 Foundations certification is a plus.
