The Senior Reporting Analyst is a client-facing role responsible for working closely with internal and external customers to understand, define, and produce reporting requirements including prototypes. Once requirements are defined and approved, the position is responsible for analyzing data and developing dynamic, analytic reporting solutions for an in-depth evaluation of various assumptions or business rules for complex business problems/systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Conduct internal and external customer meetings to produce business requirements for reporting, including detailed design requirements and prototypes. Research alternative technologies and methods for reporting to determine the optimal reporting solution. Coordinate requirements review sessions, incorporate feedback, and obtain needed approvals. 35%
2.Provide advanced analytical support across multiple products and programs. Document and understand the data maps and relationships of respective client programs and data warehouse repositories. Develop complex and dynamic custom reporting solutions to satisfy business requests. Receive, respond to, and prioritize requests to ensure reports are scheduled and delivered in support of client programs according to established SLA's. Work with the assigned project manager to assist on project planning and status reporting. Identify and communicate any project risks through appropriate channels. Participate in the project estimation process. 35%
3.Define processes and policies in methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for designing and developing reports while adhering to the SDLC. Identify, recommend, and implement workflow and other improvements. Conduct periodic system reviews and audits and proactively identify and resolve issues. 10%
4.Act as primary contact on smaller projects to Client Managers, and Application Technology partners to ensure data warehouse structures, universes, and data provided to satisfy the reporting requirements. Provide mentorship to fellow RA team members through cross training, reporting technologies and SQL. 10%
5.Develop and execute acceptance test plans to ensure data warehouse structures, universes, and data providers are accurate and meet the business requirement.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education/Training –
Required - 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Desired – Advanced Degree: Masters or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Business Experience – 3+ years of experience with advanced analytics, defining reporting requirements, programming, and business reporting.

Specialized Knowledge:

Technical Skills Required
•3-5 years experience in Business Objects, Oracle, SQL, Crystal Reports or related technologies.
•3-5 years experience in data models, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and cardinality.
•3-5 years experience in structured process models.
•3-5 years of business requirements management and transcribing requirements into reporting specifications and prototypes.
•Comfortable analyzing and interpreting data
•Excellent understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and adherence to processes and methodologies.
•Demonstrated ability using MS Windows Applications including MS-Project, MS-Visio, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word.

•Able to self-prioritize and multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates.
•Possess a strong self-motivated work ethic with a "do whatever it takes" mentality.
•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
•Outstanding interpersonal and organization skills.
•Exercise excellent judgment within defined standards and guidelines to manage conflict resolution and/or ambiguous situations.

Desired
•Healthcare or Call Center reporting experience.


Working Conditions:
•General professional office environment.
•Candidate may be required to work overtime occasionally and must be flexible for various project assignments when needed.
