Move is currently seeking a Senior Analytics Specialist. The position requires close coordination with online technology, user experience, creative, marketing and sales groups to effectively implement and optimize the web analytics across all online properties using the Omniture web analytics suite.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain analytics tracking in Web pages and Flash applications throughout site to correctly capture Omniture variables, properties, events, and filters. Stay current with Omniture product developments; advise management team of new implementation or data collection opportunities
* Work closely with product owners and technical staff to develop optimized tracking and automated reporting for their Web applications
* Serve as primary Omniture liaison to Product and Technology organization
* Build custom tracking applications to support needs of various stakeholders
* Administer Omniture product; manage profiles, dash board, campaigns, reports, standard and custom code, issue management, and training.
* Coordinate all Web Analytic initiatives. Identify proactively opportunities to improve user experience and site effectiveness.
* 4+ years using enterprise Web analytics software, with 2+ years using Omniture SiteCatalyst and Discover or equivalent experience with similar analytics platform
* 2+ years of using Omniture is noted but it's more critical that this role has prior hands-on implementation experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Translate primary business objectives into strategic solutions utilizing Omniture Site Catalyst.
* Gather business requirements and create customized solutions for measuring online metrics and integrating offline metrics
* Generate JavaScript or other rich media collection code and assist with implementation for reporting and optimization
* Support developers and QA throughout the implementation process to ensure that Omniture reports are accurate and generate the desired results
Education, Skills and Experience:
* Strong understanding of HTML and web protocols
* Intermediate-to-advanced skills with JavaScript code development/customization
* Previous experience in implementing Omniture SiteCatalyst and Discover
* Web development and web services (API) experience
