If you have strong management pedigree, and yet can still contribute technically, this role is ideal. This is NOT a "we want a manager, but only need an engineer" kind of role. This person will take over an existing team and add to it while being a key decision-maker in technology decisions. The management experience is a must, and experience with Python or Perl is also a must.
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Quality Assurance team. This is a hands-on management position requiring both technical and people management skills. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with passion, skills, and experience leading highly technical individuals. This position has direct responsibility for our QA team, as well as for test automation and lab infrastructure. Responsibilities include leading QA testing efforts, as well working across the entire engineering team to direct and influence quality improvement initiatives in all aspects of software production.

Specific Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire highly skilled technical team responsible for product testing and engineering infrastructure (4 people)
Define, refine, and lead software quality assurance efforts
Manage and operate the R&D infrastructure including labs, tools and build environments
Develop and institutionalize quality assurance best practices across the organization
Work across entire engineering team to develop and implement a technical vision for product development processes
Create and/or critically review test designs, plans, and result
Required Skills and Experience:
BS or equivalent experience
At least 7 years experience in QA software development
3+ years experience as a QA Lead or Manager in a software development organization
Experience configuring and using UNIX, Windows and Mac
Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python
Experience with VMWare
Experience in the security or networking space a plus
Exceptional understanding and knowledge in the latest quality assurance processes, standards, methodologies and tools
Previous experience of developing test automation for complex network products
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where action and initiative are prerequisites to performing well
Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
