The Apollo Group is currently seeking a Web SQA in San Jose, CA or Phoenix, AZ office!
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong development skills and in-depth knowledge of QA processes and tools and a passion for testing who can work with developers, PMs and testers.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in QA

Experience with web service, UI testing and automation (Webservice = developing test cases in java, test RESTful webservices) or experience testing SOAP webservices

Tools:Java, JUnit, HTTPUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, JMeter a plus

Experience with code coverage, static analysis tools and test tool development

Experience with LINUX/UNIX a must

Knowledge of internet protocols and languages such as SOAP and XML

Ability to work on multiple projects, with multiple teams

Solid & effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong in at least one OOP – Java (preferred) or C++

Knowledge of Perl/PHP or other scripting experience is highly desirable

Experience with relational databases - Oracle preferred or MySQL

Experience working with large data volumes, including Map-Reduce (e.g. Hadoop) or other parallel data processing techniques a plus

BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
