Perl Developer

Participate (in a senior role) on a project team of engineers involved in development of software configuration management (SCM) software tools for internal development engineers.

Requires use of a strong background in SW design, tools development, SCM administration (preferably ClearCase), documentation and implementation, on projects that may include any of the following list of responsibilities: Work with the project lead on the creation and testing of SW tools releases, including building the software, coordinating with other departments, and participating in scheduling (from conception to testing).

Requires experience in Unix/Linux/Win32 administration, Perl, Shell, ClearCase, CVS, web doc/layout/cgi, tool support (email/ phone) of engineers, etc... with a strong background in SCM and SCM tooling and Perl programming skill.

Plus: build systems (Jam, make, etc),

Requires excellent communication skills. Superior tools development and testing skills. Takes ownership for initiatives, and then drives ongoing evaluation and success.
