Compute Infrastructure Architect /Huawei Technologies in Santa Clara, California
The Compute Infrastructure Architect position is responsible for the design, partner relations, and deployment of the eBento cloud compute infrastructure architecture. The position reports to the Platform Principal Architect and works closely with the Platform Project Manager on coordinating the compute infrastructure related project activities. The position requires at least 8 years of software systems, compute infrastructure and cloud computing design experience.
The qualifications required are:
1. Experience in software development processes including drafting product requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
2. Expert in compute virtualization and hypervisors Xen, KVM, and VMWare.
3. Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure methodologies based around Eucalyptus, and OpenStack and other related methodologies.
4. Strong knowledge of cloud-based compute solutions such as Amazon's EC2 and VPC.
5. Strong knowledge of UML.
6. Knowledge of SOA, ESB, and MVC.
7. Development experience with Java, Java based Application Servers and frameworks, IDEs, Servlets/Restlets, HTTP, REST, WS-*.
