The Service Routing Technology Group is one of Cisco's largest Business Units by revenue, profit, and contribution margin. SRTG's "branch office" products integrate industry-leading routing, security, and voice/video features with emerging technologies such as 802.11n, 3G mobile data and cloud-based IT applications. SRTG customers are the world's largest retailers, financial institutions, and IT service providers, that likely include your bank, grocery store, and maybe even your favorite coffee shop. Driving innovation and increased customer value has enabled SRTG to maintain market share leadership in a competitive environment.
SRTG is seeking a Software Engineer.

Requires experience in test engineering concepts and methodologies including test planning, test case design, test execution, and automation/scripting
- Experience testing embedded applications
- Experience working in cross platform environments: Linux, Unix, Windows Server
- Automation using TCLTk or other scripting languages along with web and Windows GUI automation
- Understanding of Virtualization concepts and technologies . Familiarity with VMware or Citrix products strongly and highly desirable
- Experience with CIsco Unified Communication products and voice technologies highly desirable
- Working knowledge of networking protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with different teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge about Cisco IOS is a plus
