Platform Middleware Architect at Huawei Technologies in Santa Clara, California

The Platform Middleware Architect position is responsible for the design, partner relations, and deployment of the eBento cloud middleware architecture. The position reports to the Platform Principal Architect and works closely with the other architects and Platform Project Manager on coordinating the platform middleware related project activities.


The position requires at least 8 years of software systems and platform middleware design experience.

1. Open Source middleware solutions offering relational and non-relational network storage.

2. Working experience designing and developing MySQL and MemCache solutions.

3. Experience with content delivery technologies and network caches.

4. Experience in architecting distributed, scalable, and highly-available network storage solutions.

5. Experience in software development processes including drafting product requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.

6. Strong knowledge of cloud-based middleware solutions such as those supported by Amazon's AWS.

7. Strong knowledge of UML.

8. Knowledge of SOA, ESB, and MVC.

9. Development experience with Java, Java based Application Servers and frameworks, IDEs, Servlets/Restlets, HTTP, REST, WS-*.
