The Interactive Media Group (IMG) provides the media and graphics foundation across all of our Fortune 50 client´s innovative products, including iPhone, AppleTV, iPod, iTunes, and Mac OS X, as well as professional and consumer applications from Final Cut Pro and Aperture to iLife and iWork.
Combining cutting-edge software techniques with next-generation hardware, IMG takes the media experience to the next level with core technologies such as QuickTime, OpenGL, Core Audio, Quartz Composer, Core Video, Core Animation and more.
The operations team within IMG is seeking a lab manager with excellent communications and organizational skills to administer our QA labs. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong IT skills who can contribute in a team environment. Day to day responsibilities include troubleshooting lab hardware and software, administering networks and servers, reconfiguring and deploying desktop and server hardware, creating and restoring disk images, scripting and automating repetitive tasks, inventorying and organizing lab systems and peripherals, monitoring infrastructure, and ensuring a clean and efficient working environment. Must be comfortable working in both the Mac OS X and Windows platforms.
Requirements
* Bachelor´s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience
* Expertise configuring and troubleshooting desktop computer systems
* Experience using ASR and Ghost or other disk imaging solutions
* Experience administering and deploying server hardware and software
* Proficiency with scripting languages, e.g. perl, python, shell
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly
* Experience with Mac OS X and Windows
Duration
Approx. six (6) months, to begin with, subject to extension
Compensation
