EBENTO Platform Project Manager at Huawei Technologies in Santa Clara, California
The eBento Platform Project Manager position is responsible for managing the design, development and deployment of the eBento Cloud Platform. The manager would work closely with the architects and partners, and coordinate all project related processes.
The position requires a least 8 years of software projects management experience with strong background in software development processes and development.
The responsibilities are:
1. Attain deep technical and operational understanding of the platform and its related systems and players, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
2. Acquire understanding of related technologies both internal and external, specifically around open source.
3. Create and execute on the eBento Platform project plans.
4. Coordinate with partner's project managers or for partners that do not have project managers, manage the partner's staff along with the internal staff.
5. Oversee the cloud operations in the Innovation Lab and coordinate with IT on its operations.
6. Hold regular meetings to coordinate the project progress.
7. Author regular status reports as required by executive teams.
8. Help review and modify project related architectural, technical and operational documentation.
9. Coordinate with the architects on the platform's designs, components' deployment configuration, and operations of related products, POC, demos, and partner trials.
10. Participate in the production of project related marketing literature, including white papers, data sheets, and product specs.
11. Optionally author journal and conference papers, or partake in patent related work.
12. Conduct or coordinate training sessions and information transfer meetings.
