This role is to help augment our QTP Engineer who is responsible for enhancing our QTP framework. The framework is a library of vbs files programmed in VB Script. Contractor should be familiar with the functionalities in QTP (object repository, recovery scenarios, checkpoints, parameters etc). Contractor will also be responsible for supporting users developing scripts with Business Process Testing (BPT). Contractor should be able to maintain and update function libraries written in VB Script, build and maintain BPT libraries and defend the strengths of both approaches to automation.
