10 MONTHS + CONTRACTING POSITION IN FOSTER CITY CA
Duties
Assist in migration of content and HTML web pages from various systems into a single content-management system.
Optimize images for web and create layouts of web pages Create HTML pages within the content management system with direction from Lead/Senior Designers and Content Leads Manage workflow and maintain tight deadlines of multiple, simultaneous projects
Understand site architecture and navigational guidelines, both best practices and based on company styles.
Skills
3+ years of industry experience with consumer-facing web sites
Fluency in Adobe CS3 (Dreamweaver, Photoshop) Solid understanding &
experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS Strong understanding of web optimization techniques
Experience developing for cross-browser compatibility (including IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Safari , Opera, Chrome )
Experience working with content management systems
Familiarity with web scripting languages such as JavaScript and AJAX and experience with Flash a Big Plus
