Position: MySQL DBA
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 -6 months plus
Location: Modesto, CA

In-person interview is a must!

Description:
• Configure, administer, tune and optimize systems servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of common network problems, hardware and software upgrades, and provide technical support as required.

Required skills:
• 3~5 years of MySQL experience
• Experience with MySQL 5.0 or above
• Experience with Oracle 9 and latest versions
• Experience working in a 24/7 environment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills for problem solving, database and SQL performance tuning and backups.
• Linux/Unix System administration, SAN storage Administration, Oracle Database Administration or development, PL/SQL and Toad.
