We are looking for a talented and passionate Sr. QA engineer who loves testing great products. Our team is fast, smart and independent. You will work on multiple projects that include testing customer-facing web applications, our RESTful services layer and applications that utilize Facebook, Twitter and other third party social service APIs.
Experience Requirements
5+ years white and black box QA experience in distributed web-based, client/server environments. Experience with Ruby, Maven, Ant & J2EE technologies highly desirable.
1+ years of Automation experience desired (Segue, Mercury/HP, Selenium, etc.).
Java Application Server & Web Server experience required. Must have at least 2 years experience with Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS or some other Java server technology.
Should be familiar with working in Unix shells (bash, ksh, etc.) for many aspects of standard system analysis, namely viewing log files, doing basic editing in vi, etc.
Must have experience with HTTP protocol based applications (IE, Firefox, etc.) and front-end & middle-tier technologies typically used (CSS, JSP, Ruby, PHP, HTML, etc.)
Must have SQL knowledge and experience, enough to execute basic queries and have familiarity using GUI based database browser tools.
