Experis IT Professional is looking for a Business Analyst with the below background.
Title: Business Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ months
The Business Analyst will be responsible for working on a complex and global-reaching project from inception through implementation and post-implementation support. The project involves the development and deployment of a set of tools and BI platform for Program Portfolio Management. This is a tier 1 project, is strategic, and has the attention of executive management throughout the company.
Job Description:
- Bridge the understanding between business and technical teams by developing a rapport with the business teams and a deep understanding of existing business processes
- Ability to analyze different processes and work towards converging them
- Develop deep understanding of source systems, business usage, business logic and data issues
- Create test scenarios and test cases in consultation with business team
- Ability to work at all levels of business and technology organizations to communicate requirements
- Report status/progress to senior and executive management
- Aptitude to work collaboratively with different Business Groups to design and develop effective solution
- Documentation of business requirements using Use Cases, Activity/Sequence diagrams, process and data flows
- Ability to work in both a collaborative team environment and independently
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as business analyst
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
- Extremely good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in designing Web User Interface (storyboards) and reviewing the storyboards
- Experience gathering and documenting as-is and to-be business processes
