Position Description:

Amanda Enterprise is a leading open source backup and recovery software.
•You will be designing and developing modules in Amanda Enterprise backup and recovery software.
•You will have to work with product management team to identify the features for the next
generation production.
•You will also work with Carbonite partners to integrate Amanda Enterprise with their applications and storage cloud.



Qualifications:

•A bachelors degree with three or more years of storage software experience.
•Experience with object oriented development(Perl, C and PHP) is essential.
•MySQL database programming experience is desired.
•Should have strong knowledge in one or more following areas: TCP/IP, network programming, storage devices, multi-threaded programming, and large database development.
•Experience with Linux/GNU development tools and should be comfortable
with Solaris and Mac OS X platforms.
• Skills to work in a team that is located in multiple geographies and time zones!
